The matter was reported and an Identification Parade was conducted which resulted in the man being charged.Representing the accused was Defence Attorney Paul Fung-a-Fat who made an application for reasonable bail. He said that no confession statement was given and the articles were not found on his client.The Prosecution however objected to bail on account of the seriousness and prevalence of the offence. Mangru stated that there are pending charges in the matter and opined that if granted bail Kelvin may not return to court.The Chief Magistrate refused bail and the matter will be called again December 18. |
