In most cases, mothers are happy when they finally deliver their babies. She said that she immediately felt “the difference.”The family took a picture of the medical chart from the hospital which stated that gauze was removed. The chart also stated that the mother had a discharge.Kaieteur News understands that medical professionals attached to the West Demerara Regional Hospital told the young mother that the cotton must have been placed there to “help” her, but was just forgotten.The 20-year-old was placed on Ibuprofen 400mg, Amoxil 500mg, Fiagyl 500mg and Ampicillin 1g. She was also given two injections and told that she can still breast feed.Sewchand told Kaieteur News yesterday that she was still experiencing slight pain in the back but severe pain in the abdomen.Her husband, whose only name is Sewchand, told Kaieteur News that he is really worried about his wife. He said that he fears that there are other complications “I hope her blood isn’t contaminated or anything.
