A young woman who is alleged to have doused her best friend with acid was yesterday released on $40,000Afia Williamsbail after she made an appearance in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.Afia Williams,Omar Vizquel Jersey, 19,Dexter Fowler Jersey, of Lot 11 Company Path, Ruimveldt, Georgetown, is accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Lashaun Austin at Laing Avenue, Georgetown on March 2.Williams,Aroldis Chapman Jersey, who was unrepresented by an Attorney,Baltimore Orioles Michael Bourn Jersey, stated that she and the victim are best friends and that she, “Didn’t want de matter to end up far”.Williams related to the court that on the day in question, she made an attempt to return a hair band which she had borrowed from Austin when she was attacked by the woman. Austin said she didn’t take the threats seriously since it was her friend and to her knowledge they had no grievances.She said a few minutes after, she noticed Williams standing in her yard. However the relatives mentioned that they only had $60,000.
