Police are on the hunt for a ‘nervous’ bandit who accidentally shot his own partner during a robbery at M. Ali and Sons Supermarket at Main Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice.Reports are that the bandit wounded his accomplice at around 19.00 hrs yesterday while trying to shoot a female employee who had entered the store while the heist was in progress.But the shooter and his wounded partner managed to escape in a car with some $500,000, a firearm and several phone cards.
