By Latoya GilesAlmost two weeks after his death,Sonny Jurgensen Redskins Jersey, relatives of Antonio De Santos, 24, are convinced that he was the victim of foul play.De Santos,Bruce Smith Bills Jersey, a resident of a small Amerindian settlement, One Mile,Jonathan Ogden Ravens Jersey, Waiakabrara,Steve Bartkowski Falcons Jersey, on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway,Peyton Manning Broncos Jersey, was found lying on the highway,Lester Hayes Raiders Jersey, an apparent victim of a hit and run accident earlier this month.The dead man’s brother,John Elway Broncos Jersey, Avenlo Dundas yesterday told Kaieteur News that although a post mortem report stated that De Santos died as a result of an accident, they believe that he was killed.According to the brother,Lawrence Taylor Giants Jersey, just one night before his brother died, he and a neighbour had a heated argument and the neighbour threatened to kill his brother.The brother went on to tell Kaieteur News that the same person has spent time in jail for a serious offence.The brother is querying why there was no broken glass near the accident scene.“They ain’t had no glass, no broken number plate nothing on the road….I think his body was placed on the road and the vehicle ran over him,” Dundas said.The man further told Kaieteur News that since the accident  the police never returned to even question no one in the area.“The police never came back….that is the exact thing that happened to my father.”Dundas said that the family even went to the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs.However,Fran Tarkenton Vikings Jersey, officials from the ministry reportedly said relatives needed to return with the death certificate before anything can be done.Dundas said that he was told that the ministry might hire a lawyer to represent the family in connection with both deaths.Kaieteur News was told that the father died a short distance from where the young man met his demise several years ago.Dundas said that no one was ever charged even though the police were able to track down a driver and his vehicle.“The ministry wants to pick up the case and ensure that we get justice…”Dundas said yesterday.De Santos’ mangled body was found on the Linden Highway on June 6.According to reports from relatives the young man had just attended a party a short distance away from his home and was returning home.This newspaper was told that the party ended some time around midnight and De Santos left to follow two friends home. His brother, Phillo De Santos, had told this publication that his brother was supposed to stay over at a friend but opted to go home.“He told me he going home…..and that was the last time I heard his voice,” the brother stated.An eyewitness allegedly told family members that he saw a white Canter truck running over De Santos’s body, but not actually hitting him. The eyewitness also told the family that at least two other vehicles ran over De Santos’s body while he was on the road.
