However, as a result of insufficient evidence, the prosecution withdrew the charge against him.Witnesses placed Riley and Richards on the crime scene and they were jointly charged for the shooting death of the Guyanese butcher.The 34-year-old was on his way to purchase livestock in the Bendals area when he was gunned down.Kelvin Galloway who was driving the truck was also struck by the said bullet which killed George. The truck driver was hit in his right hip after the bullet exited the body of the deceased.According to evidence submitted by Galloway, while he was driving on an unpaved road behind the Bendals clinic they were ambushed by gunmen, robbed and shot.According to a social inquiry report, Richards who once worked as a tour guide had a change of personality when he relocated to Bendals.The father of one is also said to have previous convictions.In a statement he expressed remorse, saying, “A life has been lost and I am sorry for that.”The trigger man Lasana Riley said, “I am really and truly sorry ‘bout everything.
