The two-year-old boy who died after being left in a locked car last Monday succumbed to sunstroke.This was revealed yesterday during a post mortem examination performed by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh.The child, Radain Wilson, of El Dorado Village,Nick Foligno Jersey, West Coast Berbice,Pavol Demitra Jersey, was found dead,David Backes Jersey, with blood oozing from his nostrils, in the back seat of Toyota AT 212 Carina motor car,Jonas Brodin Jersey, which belongs to a retired head teacher of El Dorado,Shayne Corson Jersey, West Coast Berbice, shortly after 11:30 hours on Monday.The child would normally been taken to school in a taxi,Seth Jones Team North America Jersey, but after the driver was unavailable,Jamie Benn Jersey, his mother,Mikael Granlund Jersey, Corletta Wilson, asked the teacher to take her son to school.However, the teacher forgot the toddler in the back seat of the car,Christian Folin Jersey, and went into the Rosignol Health Centre.Ms. Wilson only realised that something was amiss when a child who attended the same school said that he had not seen Radain for the day.She then used a phone to contact the teacher with whom she had entrusted her son. It was only then that the teacher remembered that she had left the child in the car. By then, the child had already succumbed.Reports are that the police will decide today whether to lay charges against the retired head teacher. She remains in custody, pending advice by the Director of Public Prosecutions whose office is expected to peruse the findings of the autopsy. |
