He pointed out that the search was not carried out in the presence of his client.Secondly, the Attorney stressed the multiple occupancy of the apartment Punch occupies. He explained that his client lives in the upper flat of the building which has several rooms.However, Forde’s bail application was met with objections from Police Prosecutor, Corporal Kerry Bostwick. The Prosecutor argued that bail should not be granted to the defendant due to the fact that no special reasons were presented by the Attorney to satisfy the court.In relating the facts of the matter, Bostwick told the court that on October 10, the police visited the defendant’s home inquiring if he had drugs. The Prosecutor added that Punch replied, “Is a li’l hustle I doing. See wuh yuh cud do fuh me”.According to Bostwick, a quantity of leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis were found in a Fernleaf milk tin hidden in the defendant’s apartment.
