RHTYSC, BCB, GTU stage historic Tribute to Teachers and Students Awards The Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club in collaboration with the Berbice Cricket Board and the Berbice branch of the Guyana’s Teachers’ Union on Thursday hosted an historic Tribute to Teachers and Students Awards Ceremony.The venue was the New Amsterdam Secondary School. It is an avenue to motivate them and he called on the relevant bodies and corporate entities to follow in the footsteps of the RHTYSC.He said that he was disappointed that less than fifty percent of the more than 200 schools in the two regions participated in the activity.He blasted the Departments’ of Education of the two regions for shunning the activity and stated how displeased he was that none of them were represented at the function.
