People’s Progressive Party (PPP) General Secretary,Bobby Orr Jersey, Clement Rohee said yesterday that his party hails yet another successful National Toshao’s Conference (NTC) hosted last week at the International Conference Centre.The politician noted that the event served to advance the future development of Amerindian people and their communities.He noted that the presence and active participation of over 200 Amerindian leaders at the 2013 NTC has served to also underline the success of the PPP in its continuous effort to empower and give Amerindian people a more direct role in the governance of their communities.According to Rohee, Guyana’s Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS) is a clear example of such an effort.
