– six teams advance to second round Six teams, including defending champions Tactical Services Unit,Cheap Sports Jerseys, have made it through to the second round of the Guyana Police Force Annual Debating Competition.Following a keenly contested first round, the six teams will debate the topic,NBA Authentic Jerseys, ‘A significant increase in police salary will increase the effectiveness of the Guyana Police Force’.Apart from the TSU, the other teams vying for the coveted trophy and other cash incentives are the Police Finance Office; Berbice Division; Immigration; West Demerara (D) Division and the E and F Division.In the first round, the teams debated the topic  ‘Crime control in Guyana is not just a police matter’.In highly competitive match-ups, the TSU brushed aside the Criminal Investigations Department; E and F Division defeated A Division; Berbice accounted for Special Constabulary Headquarters; Immigration trounced G Division (Essequibo); D Division eliminated the East Coast Demerara Division and the Police Finance Office took care of the Felix Austin Police College.According to co-ordinator of the competition, Assistant Commissioner (ret’d) Cecil Bovell, the second round will take place on September 27 at various locations.The TSU will take on E and F Division; Berbice will match wits with the Police Finance Office,Artemi Panarin Jersey, while D Division will come up against the Immigration Department.Bovell indicated that members of the public who wish to attend the debates will be informed of the respective venues.Meanwhile,Marlon Humphrey Jersey, participants in the annual police essay competition for the President’s Gold Medal, have until October 22 to submit their entries.The topic this year is ‘The role of the police is guided by the politics,Throwback Jerseys, economic, social and technical conditions prevailing in the society’.The essay competition was which was resuscitated last year is opened to ranks from Constable to Assistant Superintendent.Last year,NFL Jerseys Cheap, Sergeant Ramlakhan of Berbice won the competition although the entries did not meet the criteria to be awarded the President’s Gold Medal.
