A Canter driver who is accused of stealing some items from Ideal factory was not required to plead yesterday after being read a joint charge of Break and enter and Larceny. Another, Vincent Fordyce, is not yet arrested.Thirty-year-old Cordell Baker,NBA Authentic Jerseys, of 431 Back Road, Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara, and father of five,Cheap Sports Jerseys, was refused bail by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson. It is alleged on October 16, the duo broke and entered the Ideal factory and stole 731 steel plates and 28 infection molds, property of Michael Brassington.Attorney at law Ronald Burch-Smith,Brad Richards Red Wings Jersey, who represented the accused, sought reasonable bail. “On the day my client was arrested he was working where Mr. Fordyce had hired him to pick up some scrap iron. Mr. Baker however never entered the compound so he never broke in.”However, Police prosecutor Kevin London, said that “On October 16,Kyle Korver Hawks Jersey, at Soesdyke,Deion Sanders Falcons Jersey, the accused broke and entered the factory (and) stole the items mentioned. He was seen loading the articles in a Canter truck.“The police were summoned and he was arrested and he told the police he was hired by Mr. Fordyce to fetch the articles. Mr. Fordyce however ran away.”The magistrate,Deion Jones Falcons Jersey, however, remanded the accused. He is expected to appear at the Providence Magistrates Court today. |
