The Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition (CVC) and the Centre of Integral Orientation and Investigation (COIN) located in Jamaica and Dominica Republic respectively have joined forces to implement “The Caribbean Vulnerabilised Groups Project” as sub-recipients of a Pan- Caribbean Partnership against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP) – Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) Round 9 Grant.The initiative is a five-year regional project which responds to HIV and AIDS among Caribbean sex workers, men who have sex with men, socially excluded youth, drug users and prisoners. Community Mobilisation Coordinator at the National AIDS Programme Secretariat, Mr. Nazim Hussain, indicated that “we have to see people for who they are and treat them with respect.
