A D’Urban Street minibus driver was on Tuesday,Irving Fryar Patriots Jersey, released on self-bail after he was accused of assaultingTerry Campbella News Update’s (Channel 65) reporter and news anchor.Terry Campbell,Steve McNair Titans Jersey, of Lot 11 D’Urban Street,Tedy Bruschi Patriots Jersey, Georgetown,Adam Joseph Duhe Dolphins Jersey, pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on May 16, at Georgetown,Harold Carmichael Eagles Jersey, he unlawfully assaulted Courdel Jones.According to reports Campbell and several other persons in a minibus were hurling racial remarks. Jones and an elderly woman who were occupants of the vehicle at the time became startled as the remarks were being hurled.The elderly woman intervened and the occupants of the minibus,Clinton Portis Redskins Jersey, including the driver began arguing with her.However, Jones rose in defence of the elderly woman; he also made several comments on the issue. After Campbell heard the comments made by Jones, he stopped the bus, exited and dealt Jones several cuffs to his face.According to Jones,Howie Long Raiders Jersey, the conductor and other passengers participated in assaulting him. During a bail application,Morten Andersen Saints Jersey, Campbell’s Attorney informed the Magistrate that the matter would be settled outside of the court.
