Two more witnesses yesterday took the stand before Justice William Ramlal as the Ashanti ‘Blondie’ trial continued.First to take the stand was woman Corporal of Police, Diane Chichester. After finding the shells Elias said he asked the police photographer to take photographs. This was done. He said that he then took possession of the shells. Having done so, Elias said that he went to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he saw Philbert Nero’s body, which was in the hospital’s mortuary.He added that while examining the body, he noticed a gunshot wound to the back of  Nero’s head and one to his upper back.The witness said that he then returned to the station where he confronted the accused and marked and sealed the spent shells in her presence.He added that himself and a party of policemen then returned to the home of the accused, where they carried out a search but came up with nothing. However, he said the accused willingly handed over a black dress with gold trimmings to him. Elias said the spent shells were subsequently taken to the ballistic expert Sergeant Jackson, while the dress was taken to the forensic analyst.He further told the court that based on information received; they went to the home of Hubert Urling and collected a .32 pistol and a magazine with seven live rounds. Elias said that the weapon and the rounds were taken to ballistic experts.Subsequently he added that Nero’s wife, Denise Ali,Artemi Panarin Jersey, and stepson, Roshal Ali,Deion Sanders Falcons Jersey, accompanied him to the Hospital mortuary where they positively identified his body.
