London – Gina Miller is a London-based investment manager for the firm SCM Private,Kris Versteeg Jersey,Gina Millerwhich she co-founded in 2014.Miller,Tony Esposito Jersey, who was born in Guyana but grew up in Britain, is the lead claimant in a historic legal action against the Prime Minister.She is fighting her case with several other applicants, including the so-called “People’s Challenge” which has the backing of thousands of supporters.Ms Miller argues that individual members of the Cabinet have no legal power to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty to leave the European Union without the prior authorisation of Parliament and MPs.She is hoping to overturn Mrs May’s decision in judicial preview proceedings at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
