The National Finals of the Children’s Mashramani 2009 Competitions began yesterday at the National Cultural Centre,Avery Bradley Celtics Jersey, with schools showcasing impressive creativity and artistry, in a variety of categories.In results that were made available to this newspaper, Georgetown’s Green Acres Primary School emerged as champions in the 5 to 7 group dance category with Mabura and Crane Primary Schools,Bojan Bogdanovic Nets Swingman Jersey, second and third respectively. A scene from the ChildrenIn the 5 to 7 masquerade flouncing Winfer Gardens Primary School occupied the top spot,Authentic Andre Drummond Pistons Jersey, with Aurora and Mackenzie Primary in the next two spots. In the 5 to 7 masquerade band category,Nicolas Batum Hornets Jersey, Mackenzie Primary was the lone contender.In the 8 to 10 individual dance category, Mae’s Primary copped first place ahead of Regna Primary.In third position was Diamond Primary. In the 8 to 10 Group dance category it was Green Acres who won from St. Therese’s and Strathsphey Primary,Victor Oladipo Thunder Jersey, in that order.The 8 to 10 masquerade flouncing saw Anns Grove Primary taking the top spot with North Georgetown Primary second.Anns Grove Primary took home the 8 to 10 masquerade title,Authentic Andrew Bogut Mavericks Jersey, with Suddie Primary and North Georgetown Primary,Steven Adams Thunder Swingman Jersey, second and third respectively.In the 14 to 17 individual dance segment,Karl Malone USA Jersey, Tutorial High took the first spot,Jimmy Butler USA Jersey, followed by Anna Regina Secondary at second place.
