In an invited comment, the mayor explained that he had joined Benschop on the trip to Buxton in his capacity as a good citizen who wanted to connect with the community and help it to grow and prosper.According to Benschop, the reason he had invited Green was to provide visual proof to the Buxtonians that working in unity was of the utmost importance.It was also made public that the Benschop Foundation would soon be starting a free computer course, which would teach persons the basics of how to use a computer. At present, the Foundation is seeking some 300 persons to participate in the course.Added to this, Benschop said, in the near future, the Foundation would be accepting some 20 female single-parents to be part of the next cake decoration class.
