Police are still looking for two main suspects who were said to be involved in the shooting to death of a cattle farmer and the critical wounding of his sibling as a result of a dispute over a plot of rice land.Shawn Fraser, 38, of Hogstye, Corentyne,Anaheim Ducks Throwback Jersey, a father of one, was shot dead and his brother Odwin Bindha, 33, a father of four, of Lot 11 Adventure Farm, Corentyne, Berbice, was critically wounded, after they were attacked and shot by three men who were all armed with guns, around 17:00hrs on Wednesday.The brothers were finishing off preparing their ricefield for cultivation when the attack occurred.The siblings also reared cattle together.Fraser died on the spot after he was shot at close range by the three men while Bindha was rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital.Police in a statement said that they have arrested six men and two women during their investigations.Fraser’s bullet-riddled body was recovered on Wednesday afternoon from the plot of rice land in the Hogstye Backdam. Bindha managed to relate the grizzly details of the assault.It is understood that the property was an abandoned piece of land which the alleged attacker used to keep his animals on. According to information, the alleged perpetrator who has been described as a bully in the area did not take it lightly that he had to give up the land.
