A Diamond, East Bank Demerara upholstery worker, claims that he and his family are being consistently harassed and traumatized by officers attached to the Diamond Police station because he refused to “pass” $10,000.The man, Ricky Ramdhani,Dion Jordan Dolphins Jersey, who ironically lives next to the Diamond Police Station, said since his refusal to hand over the money, he has twice been taken to court on trumped up charges, while he continues to face intimidation.Providence Magistrate Leslie Sobers dismissed the cases when the two matters were taken before him. But Ramdhani said his troubles continue.He explained that he was on his way out of the Diamond scheme on June 6 when he was pulled over by one Corporal Boyce. However, when the officer at the inquiries desk shouted to the Corporal telling him who was there to see him, he shouted back that he did not want to talk to Ramdhani since he had complained to the inspector about him.At that, Ramdhani left the station. A few days later, on June 9, Ramdhani said he was again on his way to work when the said Corporal Boyce rode his motorbike in front of his car, asking him if he was not supposed to report to the station.Ramdhani explained that he did and recounted what happened at the station when he did go to see him.  At that, Ramdhani said the Corporal asked him if he “get through” with “the thing” he asked him for, namely the $10,000.Ramdhani said that he told the Corporal “No” at which point he was told to go to the court the next day on a charge of “dangerous driving.”When he did go to the court, on June 10,D.J.
