After years of unceasingly playing the lottery, Sandra Singh’s dream came true last week.GLC’s Marketing Officer,Scott Gomez Jersey, Donielle Barnes (left) presents the $6M cheque to Sandra SinghShe is the winner of the Lotto Supa 6 jackpot for the January 11 drawing.The Guyana Lottery Company (GLC) Limited yesterday presented Singh with a $6M cheque at its Robb Street outlet in the Guyana Post Office Corporation building,Kari Lehtonen Jersey, Georgetown.She related that the money will be used to erect a small, comfortable house so that her family could “finally live together”. Singh, who is a cashier at a City guesthouse,Al Macinnis Jersey, lives in Georgetown,Shayne Corson Jersey, while her husband and six children reside on the East Coast of Demerara.The elated woman revealed that she has been playing Lotto since the company was established in Guyana and won small sums of money from time to time.According to the company’s Marketing Officer,Sean Monahan Team North America Jersey, Donielle Barnes,Craig Hartsburg Jersey, Singh is the second winner for 2012,Colton Parayko Jersey, while the winner of the $36M jackpot for December 24,Brett Hull Jersey, 2011 drawing is yet to come forward.Barnes disclosed that the ticket for that drawing was purchased in Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne),Christian Folin Jersey, and the purchaser has three months to claim the money. |
