He said that it was the only one of its kind in the country,Houston Astros Brian McCann Jersey, and commended the Rockstone community for successfully hosting the event.Regional Chairman, Mortimer Mingo, reiterated those very sentiments in his address. He said that the festival means a lot to Linden and Region Ten.The Linden Economic Advancement Fund was lauded for its instrumentality in promoting the very first Fish Festival in 2005.LEAP’s Representative, Tina Horslen, said that she was proud that the community has been able to successfully continue the activity, both collaboratively, and now independently.She said that the Festival has been established as a ‘premier’ in the Tourism Calendar in Guyana.She expressed optimism that over the years it will become more ‘sophisticated’.
