The services of 914 staff in all categories across the region’s hospitals, health centres and other health-based facilities provided health care and medication to patients from the 41 primary health care facilities and seven hospitals.There were 96 different types of injections that were administered to patients; 133 types of tablets; 65 types of liquids and 140 different types of medical supplies.President Ramotar presents an award to Dr. Vineshri KhirodarFifty-seven types of lab tests were provided.He thanked the hardworking nurses,Atlanta Braves John Danks Jersey, doctors, pharmacy, lab and other medical and technical staff, as well as clinic staff of all the hospitals. “Indeed, they have delivered!” he boasted.Dr. Mahadeo said that in the past 52 amputations were carried out annually, today only partial amputations are done. Doctors who received their Hippocratic Oath awards included Dr. Kester Persaud and Dr. Iva Sinclair.The People’s Choice Awards went to Llana Lewis who received a hamper worth $25,000, while Muneshwar Bera received a cash prize of $50,000.The Second- Best Health Centre award of $25,Miami Marlins Edinson Volquez Jersey,000 went to Bohemia while Crabwood Creek Health Centre won Best Health Centre, with $50,000 prize. They all won overnight trips for two to Lake Mainstay Resort.Appreciations were also shown to Dr. Vineshri Khirodar; Michael Itwaru; Camille Semple and Dinesh Gopaul of the Region Six Regional Democratic Council (RDC).The CEO’s Award went to Dr. Tameshwar Algu of N/A Hospital. He won a trip for two to Kaieteur Falls, while the Champion Worker’s Award went to Percy Phillips. He and someone else will be spending a weekend in Jamaica, compliments of Fly Jamaica.Remarks were also made by Region Six Chairman, Mr. David Armogan and Local Rep of Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation (PAHO/WHO), Dr. Adu- Krow. The gala event was punctuated by singing and dancing renditions from ‘Second- Coming’ singers from Georgetown as well as the Ashara Dance Group. Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the BRHA, Mr. Michael Itwaru, was the Master of Ceremoinies for the evening’s proceedings.Also in attendance at the function were First Daughter, Lisa Ramotar and Former MP, Faizal M.
