The preliminary inquiry into the Kaieteur News killings continued yesterday before Magistrate Nigel Hawke, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.The matter was not heard for the entire morning and the defendants were seen sitting in the courtroom awaiting the arrival of their respective lawyers. This was the case until mid-afternoon.On trial for the murders are Dwight Da Silva,Deion Sanders Falcons Jersey, Quincy Evans, “Nasty-man” a juvenile. Jermaine “Skinny” Charles, now deceased,Marlon Humphrey Jersey, had also been charged for the murders. He was killed in a confrontation with the police at Kuru Kururu last August.After a number of adjournments over the past year, the PI continued last week when a male Lance Corporal of Police and three of the victims’ relatives took the witness box.The policeman gave evidence in chief about a caution statement which he reportedly took from Dwight Da Silva. He was cross examined by Attorney at law Compton Richardson.The Lance Corporal also told the court about his role in the investigation into the August 8, 2006,Cheap Jerseys From China, slaying of the pressmen at Eccles,Deion Jones Falcons Jersey, East Bank Demerara.The rank was re-examined by the Police Prosecutor after the lawyer had finished questioning him.Three other witnesses testified to identifying the bodies of their loved ones.The preliminary inquiry had been placed on hold after Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys was involved in a shooting incident.A Police Inspector along with a Corporal have all testified in the matter.Meanwhile Ramchand Harripersaud, Edgar Stewart,Cheap Sports Jerseys, Kobeer Persaud and Savatri Tarwattie also known as “Lisa” are being asked to make urgent contact with Prosecutor Robert Tyndall at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.Dwight Da Silva, Quincy Evans and “Nasty Man”, are accused of killing the five pressmen.
