Trinidad (Trinidad Express) – A Guyanese national who stabbed a man during a bar brawl was ordered by the court to immediately pay a TT$5,000 fine.Michael George entered the guilty plea to the charge of malicious wounding when he appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Mark Wellington earlier this week.At 11.55 p.m. on June 6,Luis Montes Mexico Jersey, the victim was at a bar along Bonne Aventure Road, Gasparillo, when there was a fight between a group of men.The victim tried to pull away one of his friends from the fight when the defendant approached him and dealt him several stab wounds to the upper chest and stomach area, police prosecutor Cleyon Seedan said.A report was made to the Gasparillo Police Station and the victim was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he was treated and listed as a patient in stable condition.Following investigations,Cooper Kupp Rams Jersey, George was met at School Trace,Yaya Toure Manchester City Jersey, Gasparillo,Gerardo Flores Jersey, and informed of the report.
