A 34-year-old East Canje man, who allegedly threw methylated spirits on his 11-year-old son and set him ablaze,Connor Hellebuyck Team North America Jersey, has been remanded to jail on a charge of attempted murder.The man, Ravendra Samaroo, of 133 Gangaram, Berbice, a field foreman attached to the Rose Hall Estate, appeared yesterday in the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court. Around the time mentioned above, the man attempted to go out to purchase more alcoholic beverages. However, he was stopped by his son who was afraid to remain at home alone.
