While concerns have been raised about value for money on several drainage and irrigation projects,Brook Lopez Nets Swingman Jersey, yesterday the government signed three multi-million-dollar contracts between the contractors and the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA).Minister of Agriculture, Robert Persaud. Kaieteur News had recently reported that a $20 million contract was awarded for the construction of a drainage structure (sluice) at Amersfort, Wakenaam,Federico Fernandez Argentina Jersey, while $35 million was also awarded for the construction of a similar drainage structure (sluice) in Waterloo,Danny Rose Jersey UK, Leguan.Information now is that the money for both these contracts has been increased from $20 million to $25.8 million,DeShone Kizer Womens Jersey, while the budgeted $35 million has also been increased to $42.6 million.These contracts were signed off and handed over the contractors yesterday at the Ministry of Agriculture, in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of the NDIA, Lionel Wordsworth; Agriculture Minister Robert Persaud; and NDC chairmen of Leguan and Wakenaam, Durga Persaud and Zakir Khan.The Wakenaam contract was awarded to S.
