By Latoya GilesPolice Corporal Floyd Hosanna was another witness called to give evidence in the Cyon “Picture boy” Collier murder trial.Collier is charged with the September 30, 2006 murder of 34-year-old businessman,NFL Jerseys Wholesale, Chandrapaul Persaud called ‘Kero Man’ of Non Pareil,Wholesale Jerseys Authentic, East Coast Demerara.Prosecutor Judith Gildharie-Mursalin is representing the State, while Collier is being represented by attorney at law Lyndon Amsterdam, before Justice Winston Patterson.Hosanna who is stationed at the Criminal Investigation Department’s Crime Unit, said that on the day in question he went to the scene to examine the body.He described the clothes that Persaud was wearing at the time of the incident. The court was told that Hosanna instructed police corporal Cleveland Brown to take photos of the crime scene.Hosanna said that he was at the “crime scene” he saw two spent shells on the veranda. The two spent shells were collected and sealed as evidence and handed over to ballistics expert Eon Jackson.Under cross examination Hosanna was asked whether he saw any bicycles at the crime scene.The witnessed answered that he saw the bicycles, plus he was aware that the bandits  watch was left behind.The witness also admitted that no fingerprints were taken because too many people had converged at the scene before the police had arrived.Police Officer Shabinaught Singh testified that he went to the crime scene with a party of policemen.He said that he saw the body lying on the floor, and Persaud appeared to be dead. Singh said that he saw two 7.62×39 spent shells on the veranda floor.After the body was photographed, the body was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where a doctor formally pronounced dead.Singh told the court that it was on October 2, 2006 he witnessed a post mortem examination which was done by Government Pathologist Nehaul SinghDuring the postmortem,Jerseys From China, Singh said that the doctor removed a bullet, which he took to the ballistics unit.The postmortem report was tendered into evidence, by Singh.  Under Cross examination the witness was questioned about certain facts pertaining to the postmortem.He was also asked if he spoke to the victim’s wife, and he replied in the affirmative.Zaheem Isshack, who is a cousin of the dead man’s wife, gave evidence on Tuesday.He testified to what transpired on the day in question. According to the witness, he was eating when he heard Persaud shouting “Thief …Thief”. Isshack said he recognized Persaud’s voice because they were friends for over 15 years.The witness said he immediately dropped what he was doing grabbed a “cutlass” and ran towards Persaud’s home. It was explained that Isshack lived in a house behind Persaud’s.He said he saw a man standing with a gun at the front – he was about 15 to 20 feet away. The court was told by Isshack that he overheard one of the men demanding that Persaud hand over his jewellery and money.At this point Isshack said he ran back to his home and locked up.  Isshack told the court that after he went back to his home, he heard about two or three gunshots. He said that when he came outside he saw, Persaud lying on the bridge and he appeared to be dead.At this point, Collier’s lawyer began to cross examine the witness. Isshack was asked if anything about his story was not truthful,Cheap Stitched Jerseys, and he answered in the negative.He was cross examined for about 45 minutes before the matter was adjourned for the afternoon session.Retired Police Inspector William Pitt also gave evidence on Tuesday.He was the officer who conducted the identification parade. He said that on October 6, 2006, three persons came to the identification parade – Persaud’s wife, Bibi Nazema Isshack, and her two children.Fourteen men of similar height and stature were part of that identification parade, Pitt stated.The wife picked out Collier, but the children could not have picked out the defendant. The court was further told that there was another suspect Michael Isaac who was also on the ID parade but was not picked out.Pitt was then cross examined by defence counsel about certain facts surrounding the ID parade.Last week, the victim’s wife took to the witness box. She told the court that it was about 19:00hrs on September 30,Cheap NBA Jerseys China, 2006,Wholesale China NFL Jerseys, and she was in the kitchen when her husband returned home.According to the woman he was in the yard offloading goods from his vehicle with a worker.Bibi Isshack said that she heard her husband “shouting for thief” and she turned around and was confronted by two bandits with “big guns”. She identified Cyon Collier as one of the men who entered her home.  Isshack said the men started demanding cash and jewellery from her.The woman said she begged them not to harm her children and proceeded to the bedroom. The court was told that the woman handed over approximately $100,000, two gold rings and a watch.Isshack further told the court that after handing over the items to the bandits, she heard bottles pelting in the yard.At this point she recalled hearing one of the bandits in the house shout to a third who was in the yard to “finish that man off”. After that, the woman said she heard three gunshots. Bibi Isshack told the court that she immediately ran outside to investigate.The court heard that the three bandits all entered the family’s car PJJ 1892. The woman said she saw her husband lying in a pool of blood on the ground. He appeared to be dead.The couple’s neighbour Liloutie Dhanai was also called to give her evidence in chief.The witness remembers watching television on the night in question when she heard her now dead neighbour shouting “thief… thief”.The woman said that she ran to her window and saw three men armed with guns. She explained that one of the men was at the gate, another on the veranda and the third at a glass door.Dhanai said that she saw her neighbour ‘Kero man’ start pelting bottles at the one on the veranda.The witness said that the bandit “pumped up” the gun and fired three shots at him.The court was further told that the victim managed to stagger out of the yard and the three men escaped with his car.Under cross examination, the woman said that although the area “had plenty lights” she was unable to identify anyone.
