An elderly woman yesterday testified how she was bound and gun-butted by bandits after they stormed her place of employment and carted off over $13M in cash and jewellery during a 30-minute early morning robbery.Eon Godfrey Lynch, of Diamond, East Bank Demerara is currently on trial for the robbery under-arms committed on Yvonne Moore on April 25,Adidas NHL Jerseys China, at Lot 216 Republic Park,Cheap NFL Jerseys, East Bank Demerara.It is alleged that Lynch, with another and armed with a gun, robbed Moore of US$10,000, a quantity of gold jewellery valued $4M, some $7 million in local currency,Wholesale Jerseys, a pistol and other items- all totaling $13,Wholesale Jerseys Online, 120,000– property of Harry Narine.The defendant is currently out on bail having pleaded not guilty to the allegations.The trial continued before Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts,Wholesale Adidas Hockey Jerseys, where Lynch apologised repeatedly to the Magistrate for being absent at previous court hearings.Moore, who is employed at the Republic Park address as a domestic worker, testified that on the day in question she turned out to work around 09:25hrs. She said that she went to Lot 217 Republic Park, where she checked a storeroom for a ladder, but noticed that a window on the property was opened.Moore, of Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara, told the court that as she proceeded to close the window, she noticed two persons standing at the back of the premises. She stated that she attempted to run but fell to the ground.“I fell down and one of them came after me. They hold my neck in a lock and took me back over to the other house (Lot 216).While she admitted that she could not recognise the persons, Moore explained that they were men from their tone of voices.The witness recalled that the man who attacked her was not wearing a mask. However, she said the other man who was standing at the back of the house was masked.According to the domestic worker, the unmasked bandit took her upstairs and tied her hands and feet. She recounted that the man questioned her about where her employer kept his money and jewellery. She said that he also asked her if her boss owned a gun but she told him she was unaware because she did not live there.Moore stated that the said unmasked man tied her hands and feet and stuffed something in her mouth. At this point she recalled that the intruders ransacked the home and emptied a safe. The witness told the court that she did not see when the intruders left the home but said that she was sure they left with her employer’s firearm.When questioned by Police Prosecutor, Vishnu Hunt as to how she knew the men carried away the firearm, Moore stated that after the men found the gun they pushed it in her face and threatened to kill her. The virtual complainant recalled untying herself and alerting neighbours, whom she said summoned police.After testifying Moore was grilled with a series of questions by the defendant. In essence, the defendant requested Moore to recite certain parts of her testimony, which she said was already given to the court.Based on reports,holesale NFL Jerseys, Lynch was charged last year March, for allegedly robbing Dexter Richards of a motorcycle, gold ring along with other items.
