SPRINGLANDS, CORENTYNE – Bishun Singh, called ‘Ears’, of Lot 19, Grant 1803, Crabwood Creek, was identified as the person whose body was lying at the Skeldon Hospital Morgue for almost two weeks.The 38-year-old labourer was identified by his brother, Haris Singh,NFL Cheap Jerseys, also of Crabwood Creek, on Friday.According to police in Berbice, the man worked at a location up the Corentyne River and visited his home every fortnight. He was known for his consumption of copious amounts of alcoholic beverages.Singh was last seen alive two days before his body was discovered on the Number Sixty-Three Beach.An autopsy is scheduled to be performed at the Skeldon Hospital Morgue today.Police in Berbice are still trying to ascertain how Singh met his end.The body was found on the Number Sixty-Three Beach on the Corentyne at about 07:30 hours on July 21 last.At the time of the discovery, the body appeared to have been burnt on several parts, leading detectives to believe that he was of African descent. The throat was slashed. |
