Guitarist Marcos Curiel of Christian hard rockers P.O.D. (PAYABLE ON DEATH) has revealed to Rooster of the Lubbock, Texas radio station 94.5 KFMX (see video below) that the band has set "The Awakening" as the title of its new album,Julian Weigl Jersey, tentatively due in August. The CD's first single is expected to arrive in May."The Awakening" was recorded at a Los Angeles-area studio with longtime producer Howard Benson.In a recent interview with Loudwire, P.O.D. singer Sonny Sandoval stated about the material for the band's forthcoming album: "I'm digging it. We have a little something different.
