Such technology would be ideal for communities with no access to GPL service.Mohan explained that one innovation that would soon be offered by Starr is the Starr X-finity multiplier which would allow for a series of computers to be connected to the CPU of the X-finity.He said that such technology would be a great fillip to learning in schools and homes. Moreover, such technology would make it much easier for entrepreneurs to invest in interest chafes and computer centres.He posited that since computers are the nucleus of economic development, the Government needs to be more innovate and strategic in its technology policy in order to make computers more readily available in Guyanese homes.Mohan reasoned that the government should utilize and thereby empower the local computer providers in its computer outreach programme as this will further stimulate the industry.The employment that would be created, it was posited, would translate to tangible growth.Mohan disclosed that Starr Computer has been in operation for over 20 years and it is the mission of Starr to offer innovation in technology products and service.
