Dorsette McCammon, 29, of 43 Stanleytown, New Amsterdam, was remanded to prison by Magistrate Fabayo Azore, yesterday, when he appeared before her at the Albion Magistrate’s Court on three counts of robbery under arms and possession of cannabis.Mc Cammon is charged with armed robbery. While being in company of others and armed with a gun on Wednesday, January 26, last, he allegedly robbed Harrynauth  Willoughby, 48, his wife Mandaya, 46, and their daughter Christine, of  cash and  jewellery, at  their Lot 9 New Glasgow Housing Scheme residence.He is also charged with being in possession of two grams of cannabis on Saturday, January 30, last.According to prosecutor Inspector Satrohan Dayaram, on the day in question two bandits, one armed with a gun and the other with a cutlass, robbed the family who operates a small shop at the front of their residence.Reports are that Harrynauth was in his shop and was about to close up when one of the perpetrators entered and bought a sweet.Another man, who had a piece of cloth partially covering his face, then entered and immediately  ran round to the back of the shop and pointed a gun to Harrypaul and ordered him to hand over all the money and jewellery that he had.The two men then proceeded to rob the family before making good their escape on bicycles. The victims later stated that one of the bandits walked with a limp. They later positively identified Mc Cammon as the one who walked with a limp. He was arrested on Saturday, last, around 02:00 hrs at his home, when police made a swoop at his residence. During the operation, police found two grams of cannabis sativa on his person.Mc Cammon was freed of murder in the High Court in 2009. He was charged with killing policeman Micah Cort on February 11,Cheap NFL Jerseys, 2007.He was freed again in early 2010 on a charge of robbery with violence which was pending since 2005.He was once again freed late last year on a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.He also has another charge of possession of arms and ammunition.
