Aviation authorities said that it would have been catastrophic if the American aircraftCaribbean AirlinesJetBlue had collided with a Caribbean Airlines (CAL) aircraft. It was said that the CAL pilot was on the wrong radio frequency and never heard the Air Traffic Controller’s instructions.The two planes were said to be no less than 2,800 feet away from each other when the JetBlue flight came to a halt.With a full fuel tank onboard the JetBlue flight, international experts reasoned that it would have been just a matter of two to three seconds that the plane would have been at a speed where it would have been unable to stop.It was stated that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation into the incident.
