However, when they visited the respective organisation to inquire about their monthly instalments, they were told that the company has not been up to date with their contributions and a printout was given to them.The man’s brother, Gordon Payne, who is a former Supervisor at the same company, said that he is completely dissatisfied in the approach the company has taken towards the welfare of his brother.He said, “Every time I conveyed the issue with my superiors, they neglected me. They even revoked my permanent staff status and placed me on probation. I could not abide with their attitude towards my brother so I resigned.”Both brought in their payslips to this publication indicating that NIS has been deducted however when cross-referencing with their NIS Contribution Statements it was discovered that their contributions were not up to date with the company.Kaieteur News has not been able to get into contact with the company but all attempts have been futile.
