These would only be collected on the last collection day of every month in the respective wards.In recent times the Council started garbage collection around the city to ease the heavy burden on the already limited budget to pay private garbage collectors. The Council had acquired four garbage trucks which have been working around the city.In the past the garbage collection contract around the city were given to Puran Borthers and Cevons Waste Management. On numerous occasions the two companies were forced to withdraw their services as a result of not being paid monies due to them for their services.
