An East Coast Demerara family is calling on the police to investigate the heinous manner in which a group of neighbours killed their family pet.Shalini Singh and Pradeep Lall, of Lot 45 Dasrath Street Beterverwagting, ECD, have accused a neighbour of chopping their dog to death.According to Shalini, she received a telephone call sometime on Friday from another neighbour informing them about what had happened.The woman said she immediately called her husband who rushed to the family’s home.
