While the family of biker Kirk Davis still mourns the loss of his life, his friend accused of shooting him to death is left to contemplate how he will spend his first Christmas behind bars.Randy Jagdeo, 27, of Lot 159 Third Street Alexander Village, Georgetown was remanded to prison yesterday when he made his second appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.The Prosecution told the court that some eight witnesses are expected to testify, noting that thus far, no confession statement has been obtained from the accused.The Chief Magistrate instructed the Prosecution to complete its investigations and summon the witnesses for February 5, the date she subsequently set for the commencement of the Preliminary Inquiry (PI).On his first appearance, an indictable murder charge was read to Jagdeo by the Chief Magistrate, and Police Prosecutor Corporal Bharat Mangru had told the court that rumours of his wife being kissed on the neck at Palm Court by his biker friend was the motive behind the execution-style killing which he allegedly committed on September 3.Jagdeo, a Water Street businessman, allegedly called Davis out of his Eccles, East Bank Demerara residence, invited him into his car,NFL Jerseys Discount, then shot him 15 times about his body, before tossing the victim’s bullet-riddled body out of his vehicle. |
