The Guyana Defence Force has tried and dismissed Petty Officer 18286 Kendall, with dishonour, for his contribution to the death of Dwieve Ramdass, the Bartica businessman who three soldiers murdered in the Essequibo River.Kendall left the Coast Guard without permission and paved the way for three ranks to use the patrol boat to execute a robbery and murder on the Essequibo River.The army also reported that prior to his dismissal, Kendall was stripped of a rank.He was in charge of the Coast Guard base at Fort Island, according to a source in the army, and he left the base without permission. In the process, three ranks—Hart, Gordon and Greenidge— were able to take the boat and go after all male passengers heading to Bartica.An inquiry found that Hart ordered Gordon and Greenidge to take a patrol to Parika. They too did not seek permission.The inquiry found that at Parika, Hart ordered Greenidge and Gordon to search all male passengers.In the process they identified Ramdass. They are charged with abducting and killing him. According to reports, one of them confessed and actually took a team to the location where they allegedly dumped Ramdass’s body. The investigation found that the three ranks—Hart,Wholesale China Jerseys, Gordon and Greenidge—after taking Ramdass, drove past Fort Island to a location called Caiman Hole where they searched Ramdass and found a quantity of cash, later said to be $16.3 million.According to the investigators, two of the ranks collected $5.7 million and a third, $5.6 million.
