This act was repeated on numerous occasions amidst threats and many promises and inducements of money.The man had reportedly collected the girl from school on a few occasions telling the teachers that he was her grandfather.The girl reportedly confided in a teacher who reported the matter. The Schools’ Welfare Department and the police were informed and the girl was taken to the hospital for medical examination.However, before Yassin could have been arrested he fled the country. He eventually slipped back in and was living at Lusignan. The police were informed about his new hideout and he was subsequently arrested and charged.When the matter was called in court on Friday it was discharged by the Magistrate because statements were not filed.   However, he was immediately re- arrested and charged with the same offence.He is now out on $110,000 bail and must return to court on April 29.
