THE BEATLES legend Paul McCartney performed with the surviving members of NIRVANA at last night's (Wednesday, December 12) Hurricane Sandy benefit gig at Madison Square Garden in New York City.McCartney joined Dave Grohl,Christian Vazquez Red Sox Jersey, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear to play a new track titled "Cut Me Some Slack" at the 12.12.12 Concert, which also featured appearances by THE ROLLING STONES,Kenny Lofton Indians Jersey, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN,Willson Contreras Cubs Jersey, BON JOVI,Carl Crawford Dodgers Jersey, GREEN DAY,Nolan Ryan Mets Jersey, KANYE WEST and THE WHO.Introducing the song, McCartney told the crowd: "Recently some guys asked me to go and jam with them. So I showed up... and in the middle of it,Bartolo Colon Mets Jersey, these guys kept saying,Brandon Belt Giants Jersey, 'We haven't played together for years, you know?'"The penny finally dropped,Kerry Wood Cubs Jersey, I finally understood that I was in the middle of a NIRVANA reunion."The track will be available to purchase as part of a live compilation album of songs from the evening.
