Two teenagers, who went on a burglary rampage in the Soesdyke/Linden Highway area, were yesterday remanded to jail.Eighteen-year-old Javon Crawford called “Big Fish” of First Street, Kuru Kuru; Emmanuel Joseph called “Lil Fish” of the same address and a 17-year-old boy, were all implicated in a series of break-ins in their community.Joseph was, however, absent from court since the police have been unable to apprehend him.The two present were not required to plead to the charge. The victims are elderly persons who after returning home from the city, found that a window had been opened. After making checks, they noticed the items missing.The rampage continued. Between March 14 and March 16 at Kuru Kuru, the defendants reportedly broke into the home of Paulette Samaroo stealing the woman’s wedding band, cash and other jewelry- a total value of $50,000. It is alleged that Samaroo had gone to a wake when she received information about the break in. The woman, along with police ranks, went to the home of the defendants. The two defendants who faced the court reportedly admitted to the offence when questioned by the police but the third accused escaped.On March 14, the boys again attacked another home. This time the residence of Rudolph Thorne. They allegedly stole two laptops from the shop owner who secured his business before heading out. The man claimed that a southern window was found open and the articles missing. The boys allegedly admitted to this offence.On March 16, the charge stated, the boys reportedly stole two bottles of alcoholic beverages; one Grey Goose and one bottle Alize valued at $30,000. This victim reportedly received a message from his stepfather telling him about the burglary.The court finally heard that between March 16 and 17,Cheap Jerseys 2018, the teens reportedly entered the home of Rickford Samaroo and stole a pair of Nike Air sneakers, a laptop and a T-shirt costing a total of $166,000.
