At the time of the man’s disappearance he was working the 19:00hrs to 07:00 hrs shift.On the night in question the taxi service received a call from a cell phone asking for a car to do a pick up at the Sheet Anchor Turn in East Canje. The car was never found.The state’s case is being presented by Attorney at law Stacy Goodings. Attorneys at law Mursalene Bacchus and Perry Gossai are appearing for the accused.When the case began the Prosecution called two witnesses. The first to take the witness stand was Gregory Ramsammy, a cousin of the deceased who testified to identifying the body of Kissoon and witnessing the post mortem examination.Police Detective Sergeant Lawrence Thomas also testified. In his testimony he recalled visiting the scene and conducting investigations into the matter. He witnessed the post mortem examination which was conducted by Dr. Vivekanand Brijmohan. The post mortem report was subsequently tendered.The preliminary inquiry was conducted by Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo in the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s court.Some 10 witnesses testified during the PI.The matter is continuing.
