The man who allegedly broke into Cell Phone Shack has been granted $300,Alexis Sanchez Chile Jersey,000 bail by Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday.The accused,Jeremy Mathieu Jersey, 21-year-old Alf Kishown Nurse,Matias Fernandez Chile Jersey, made his appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates Court on a charge that alleges that, between June 5 and June 6, he broke into Cell Phone Shack and stole a quantity of cellular phones and other gadgets, all to the value of some $3M. Nurse pleaded not guilty to the charge.He was represented by defence counsel Adrian Thompson. In a bail application,Jorge Valdivia Jersey, Thompson told the court that he is surprised at the charge brought against his client, whom he said is a technician. Thompson contended that his client was given some cellular phones by someone to sell,Eduardo Vargas Jersey, and the Police then held on to him after they were informed that the items were stolen. “Your Worship, my instructions are that my client went to a store to see if he could sell the items, and the person then called in the Police after he realized the items were stolen,” Thompson said.He added that his client,Pedro Rodriguez Jersey, after being detained by Police,Sergi Samper Barcelona Jersey, even gave investigators the name and address of the person who gave him the cell phones. However,Enzo Roco Chile Jersey, when the Police visited the address,Sergi Roberto Barcelona Jersey, the person was not there and as such his client was charged for the offence. He further pointed out that it is highly impossible for his client alone to remove all the items listed from the store.Prosecutor Sherwin Matthews objected to bail after informing the court that some of the items were recovered on Nurse.Nurse is expected to make his next court appearance on June 30th. |
