Police ranks on the West Coast of Berbice are investigating an early morning accident that left one man dead and two others injured. The driver of PRR 3473, 22-year-old Trevon Wilson was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mahaicony Hospital yesterday morning after he lost control of the motorcar he and passengers were travelling in, causing them to slam into a utility pole at Foulis Main Road, West Coast Berbice. The accident occurred at about 05:30 hours.The police have reported that Almond Smith and Earl Miller both received injuries.However, Miller received medical attention and was sent away, while Smith was admitted as a result of the injuries he sustained.All three men are said to be from Mahaicony on the East Coast of Demerara.A cousin of the deceased told Kaieteur News that she heard of the accident from family members. She was unable to say where her cousin was going at the time of the accident.Wilson’s death is the first for the month of December,Cheap Air Jordan China, occurring a few hours after the end of Road Safety Month, which was actually the deadliest month so far for the year. With the year’s deadliest weekend passing about three weeks ago, November alone saw 15 persons losing their lives. Wilson’s death has taken the road fatality figure to 101.
