Seventy-one (71) villagers of Sand Creek recently graduated from European Union (EU)’s capacity building programme aimed at bolstering the community by increasing the scope of their activities and affording villagers the opportunity to branch off into other areas of trade.Head of Delegation Ambassador Robert Kopecký and the Vice Chancellor of University of Guyana Professor Jacob Opadeyi with some of the graduates.The programme,Baltimore Orioles Yovani Gallardo Jersey, facilitated by the University of Guyana’s Institute for Distance and Continuing Education (IDCE),Detroit Tigers Lance Parrish Jersey, sought to enhance the development of the community by improving the levels of competence and education of its diverse populace.It encompassed guidance to village captains in key areas of leadership and management; made provisions for women to involve themselves in courses which will enhance their abilities such as sewing; and provided training for both men and women in areas of trade such as construction management,Boston Red Sox Blake Swihart Jersey, farming and mining.
