Three men who were arrested in connection with recent execution-style murders in Charlestown,Noah Juulsen Canadiens Jersey, Georgetown,Niklas Kronwall Red Wings Jersey,Charged with Coast Guardsman’s murder: Dellon Smallwere yesterday remanded to prison when they appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates Court.Dellon Thorne and 21-year old Trefon Parris were charged with the April 1, 2016 murder of Gladstone Taylor called “Tuffy” at Sussex and Adelaide Streets Charlestown.Thorne, who claimed he was a self-employed jeweller and Parris,Chris Kreider Rangers Jersey, who said he was a Government Technical Institute student,Matt Niskanen Capitals Jersey, were not required to plead to the indictable offence when it was read to them by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.According to police investigators,Derick Brassard Rangers Jersey, the duo embarked on a bloody shooting rampage which claimed the life of Taylor, and was a revenge-motivated attack for the shooting death of Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Coast Guardsman, Lance Corporal Keon Payne,Nick Bonino Penguins Jersey, on March 30, last.The men, who were both unrepresented,Tomas Plekanec Canadiens Jersey, were remanded to prison until April 29.And a few minutes later,Jonathan Drouin Lightning Jersey, as the two accused left a silent courtroom,Jaromir Jagr Penguins Jersey, Dellon Small was arraigned for the murder of Lance Corporal Payne at Lyng and Sussex Streets, Charlestown.Small’s solicitor, Glenn Hanoman argued that his client was seen quite some distance away from the incident and “there are four witnesses present here today who can verify that.” He later gestured to the four persons standing in the courtroom, and whom he said were not given the opportunity to provide statements.According to Hanoman, “there is a female eyewitness who can testify she saw a police van filled with policemen fire shots on the day in question and the deceased was hit”. The legal representative then asked for the matter to be put down so that further investigations could be performed. He later added that he hopes that the police can do a better investigation and seek advice from theMurder accused Dellon Thorne and Trefon Parris cover their heads as they are escorted to the courtroom.Director of Public Prosecutions, “because when police start to investigate police, strange things happen”.Prosecutor Dinero Jones, in his address argued statements were taken, but the accused never provided any additional names in the police investigation, of persons who might be willing to give statements.
