She asked the court for De Mendonca to be admitted to the same bail which was granted on the previous charges.Police Prosecutor Stephen Telford did not oppose bail and asked for the matters to be transferred to another court.That application was granted by the magistrate and bail was set at $150,000. De Mendonca is expected to make another court appearance on April 26.Earlier this month, De Mendonca was charged with similar offences.He was accused of stealing $162,730 from the Guyana Revenue Authority between September 11 and September 30, 2009. A second charge stated that he stole $466,160 between October 10 and October 30, 2009.
