Two men involved separate incidents were yesterday remanded after they were charged with theft.First was 18-year-old Michael Cameron who was charged with robbery underarms.It is alleged that on March 31,Reggie Wayne Miami Jersey, while armed with an offensive weapon he robbed George Barclay of a $50,000 gold chain.To the charge he pleaded not guilty. He was represented by Defense Counsel Adrian Thompson who told the court that his client has a fixed place of abode at Diamond New Scheme,Spencer Ware LSU Jersey, East Bank Demerara and is gainfully employed at the Fidelity Wharf.However Police Prosecutor Denise Griffith objected to bail. According to Griffith the accused has a pending matter of similar nature in the same court and as such it is likely if granted bail he would commit similar offences. Cameron is expected to make his next court appearance on May 8.Also,Denard Robinson Michigan Jersey, 41-year-old Brian Williams was remanded to prison after he pleaded not guilty to a simple larceny charge.It is alleged that Williams who lives at 21,Jalen Rose Michigan Jersey, Hill Street,Max Bullough Michigan State Jersey, Albouystown,Tom Brady Michigan Jersey, on April 26,Kansas Jayhawks Jerseys, stole one length of fire hose,John Wall Kentucky Jersey, property of the Guyana Fire Service. In his own defense Williams told the court that he was severely beaten by ranks of the Guyana Fire Service and is currently nursing a broken rib. He asked that he be granted bail so that he can see a doctor for his injury. However Police Prosecutor,Peyton Siva Louisville Jersey, Munilall Seecharran objected to bail.Williams is expected to make his next court appearance on May 5. |
