Principal Magistrate, Melissa Robertson-Ogle yesterday remanded Sean Matthews to prison for unlawfully wounding Clive Lynch,Jim Harbaugh Michigan Jersey, his sister’s boyfriend,Michael Ford LSU Jersey, on July 3,Reggie Wayne Miami Jersey, last.To the charge Matthews pleaded not guilty.Matthews told the court that on the day in question he was about to render assistance to his ailing mother when his sister and her boyfriend prevented him from doing so. He said that in frustration he attacked them. However Police Prosecutor Denise Griffith told the court that Matthews was in the habit of ‘playing he does trip out’ and attacking his family members. She told the court that this incident was not the first since the accused was before the court for a similar incident in which he wounded his sister. On that occasion he was spared after his sister asked that the police give him a warning.Because of the precedence,Glenn Robinson III Michigan Jersey, Griffith objected to bail.Matthews’s sister confirmed what the court was told and added that she is now fearful for her life. She said that her brother was in the habit of ‘smoking herbs’ and attacking her.She said that now that the attacks have become more violent, she wants her brother to be penalized for his actions since she no longer feels safe around him.Magistrate Robertson-Ogle acquiesced and ordered that Matthews be remanded until July 17.
